| Calling all socially responsible investors and all who care about economic justice and affordable housing. The UU Affordable housing Corporation (UUAHC) is now part of a larger affordable housing loan fund, which needs your ideas and support! Last July, UUAHC merged with the Washington Area Housing Trust Fund to create the largest locally based loan fund with lending capital of more than $17 million. A new UU Faith-Based Advisory Board Committee has formed to assist the OpenDoor Housing Fund in strengthening our UU connections. OpenDoor’s faith-based roots are very important to its mission, and if you would like to know more or to contribute to the UU Faith-Based Fund Go to the new website |

by. Rev. Cynthia Snavely
If life has meaning to us at all, it possesses it because of love. It is that which enshrines and ennobles our human experience. It is the basis for the peace of the family and the peace of the peoples of the earth. The greatest gift bestowed upon humans is the gift not of demanding but of giving love between two persons.
